The Company

Exclusive Human Resources are working with an expanding company based in North East England in their search for an Area HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time permanent role within a fast-paced national business. As Area HR Manager you will be involved in a generalist role with a significant HR Business Partner remit, supporting an ambitious management team. Covering a multi-site function across the North of England, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and value-added HR service to all individuals.

You will lead the delivery of the personnel strategy, ensuring alignment to the regional areas priorities and objectives at all times. Working proactively, you will be heavily involved in coaching and upskilling line managers, team leaders and others across the area to deal with non-complex HR issues in an effective and timely manner, whilst providing support for more complex cases.

Due to the nature of the business, you will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the wider national HR Team, developing centres of excellence and sharing best practice at every opportunity.

The Person

You will be a passionate and enthusiastic HR professional who is able to adapt their style and approach to HR whenever necessary. Experienced within a fast-paced and demanding environment, you will have excellent influencing skills and be able to work with strong and challenging personalities on a daily basis in a positive and professional manner.

Creative and innovative in your approach to HR, you will be able to contribute new ideas and possibilities to ensuring a positive performance management culture is in place, and one which places the safety and success of every individual at its centre.

CIPD qualified with previous multi-site experience, you will demonstrate your ability to effectively develop strategy for Talent Management and to identify areas for improvement whenever appropriate.

This is a hands-on operational role which will see you working across a wide geographical area with significant requirement for travel. As a result of this, you will need to be flexible in your availability as some overnight stays will be required.
