Are you fed up of the daily grind to hit unachievable targets and KPIs for a company that you don’t really believe in? Do you want to have a big impact on career development not just for yourself, but for others across the UK?
Or maybe you have a real passion for animals and their wellbeing and want to work in a role which will see the continued improvement of veterinary services provided to all animals through your dedication and hard work?
If the above sounds like you, then a role as Resourcing Consultant may be the right career option for you.
Simply Veterinary are a specialist Headhunting consultancy working with companies and candidates across the veterinary sector. With a unique approach to recruitment – employing only traditional headhunting methods – the company has grown considerably since it was established in 2013.
With a significant number of VIP clients and other large accounts, Simply Veterinary are now embarking on the next stage of their growth plan through the extension of their dedicated Career Management Team.
As a specialist recruitment consultancy which offers a consultative approach to job seekers and passive candidates, they have built a strong reputation for themselves across the UK and have become experts in providing an extremely high standard of service to not just their clients, but the individuals they work with across their network as well.
An ambitious and proactive business, this is an exciting time to be joining the company as they continue to expand and attract new clients.
As a Resourcing Consultant at Simply Veterinary you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment process, liaising with both the client and prospective candidates in a consultative and friendly manner. Having developed a practical understanding of the candidate market through talent mapping and candidate research, you will then conduct initial exploratory conversations with prospective candidates, acting as a career management advisor able to offer advice and guidance at every stage of the process.
Maintaining regular contact is pivotal to the continued success of the business, so regular updates with individuals who may, or may not become active candidates will be required as they progress through their career.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be working collaboratively with other team members, bouncing ideas off each other and offering support wherever necessary. You will demonstrate the ability to employ a focused and methodical approach to recruitment and resourcing activities, whilst being flexible and adaptable to ensure you obtain the best from the prospective candidates.
You will be an ambitious and articulate individual who demonstrates a high standard of communication, both verbally and written. Personable and able to build rapport with individuals quickly, you will demonstrate an outstanding level of attention to detail at all times.
Whilst previous experience within a recruitment role will be considered, your ambition and drive to be self-motivated and succeed in a fast-paced environment are what will set you apart from other individuals.
This is a unique role in a unique setting; working in a true headhunting capacity, offering advice and guidance and influencing the recruitment process to achieve the desired outcome.
On offer is a competitive basic salary and a generous commission structure which could see on target earnings (OTE) between £26,000 and £40,000+.
Due to the candidate focused nature of the role, your daily hours would be 12pm to 9pm Monday to Thursday and then 5.5 hours to be worked on a Friday at your preference.
You will also have the opportunity to work with some of the wider office members including Spud, Walter and Bailey; three of the office based dogs who love to be around their owners on a daily basis.
